Meeting Name: Prepared Childbirth Class

Long before you ever touch a soft cheek or hold a tiny hand,
your baby is depending on you.

Description: Prepared Childbirth, with emphasis on the LaMaze technique, is taught throughout the year. Each session provides extensive information regarding:

  • Exercise and Breathing Techniques
  • Labor / Delivery
  • Anethesia & Analgesia
  • C-Section
  • Early Postpartum
  • Newborn Care
  • Newborn Feeding

Participants should pre-register early, but attend classes during the last 6-8 weeks of pregnancy. Enrollment is limited. Please call 723-3950 to register.

Time: 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.

Cost: Free to parents delivering their baby at the Trinity Hospital Family Birth Center.

Meeting Name: Breastfeeding Basics

Description: The birth of a baby can present many challenges for women and families. Nezt Steps provides useful information on a variety of topics to help ease the transition. We encourage you to attend the classes prior to delivery, but Next Steps is also available to parents who ha ve recently delivered.

Time: 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Location: Prepared Childbrith Classroom, Health Center - 3rd Street at 420 3rd Street S.E., main floor South entrance. (Building located next to the Trinity Hospital - St. Joseph's parking ramp.)

Cost: Free. Registration is required.
